City fought back from two goals down to move four points clear of Liverpool at the top of the table, keeping our destiny in the title race in our own hands ahead of the final game of the season.
Pep Guardiola’s side trailed 2-0 at half-time after Jarrod Bowen’s brace put the Hammers in a commanding position.
The winger opened the scoring in the 24th minute, latching onto Pablo Fornals’ ball in behind, rounding Ederson and firing home from an acute angle.
Bowen got his and West Ham’s second on the stroke of half time with a composed finish into the bottom right corner after good work from Tomas Soucek and Michail Antonio set him free of the City defence.
Jack Grealish reduced the deficit four minutes into the second period when his volley deflected off Craig Dawson and over Lukasz Fabianski, before Vladimir Coufal headed Riyad Mahrez’s free-kick into his own net to level the scores.
Mahrez could have won the game from the penalty spot, but Fabianski guessed correctly to deny him after Dawson had tripped Gabriel Jesus.
