In our new video feature ahead of each top-flight game, we go back through the last goals we scored in previous iterations of the upcoming fixture.
It starts with trips to Wolves, where we’ve largely enjoyed a great record - beating the West Midlands side in nine of our last 10 meetings home and away.
This particular video begins with the second, third and fourth in Kevin De Bruyne’s iconic four-goal haul in 2021/22 before Raheem Sterling added extra gloss to that scoreline.
Next up, Jack Grealish, Erling Haaland and Phil Foden all had their say in another win early on in the 2022/23 season before a spectacular Julian Alvarez free-kick was the highlight in a defeat in 2023/24.
The last two goals came in October 2024, when Josko Gvardiol curled in a special opener before John Stones’ header won it at the death.
