Though City have had very little time to prepare for the new campaign, Pep says he has been impressed by his players’ attitude and application.
“The feeling is good as always,” he said.
“I see the team as always in an incredible mood. It’s a joy to work with them. We have good expectations to play good football and get the results this club deserves.
“We want to continue the consistency.”
The boss added that new signings Ferran Torres and Nathan Ake seem to be settling in quickly.
“So far, it’s been really good. What you have to do, all the players and staff, all the people close to them, is to help them settle as soon as possible.
“They are two nice people and they are going to help us.”
