It's the game recognised by City fans as our lowest ever point...

Our Division Two visit to Bootham Crescent, on December 19, 1998, has become part of the Club’s folklore, with Joe Royle’s side beaten 2-1 - a result that saw us slip to our lowest ever league position.

But it sparked a significant upturn in form.

We only lost two of our next 27 matches, earning promotion back into Division One via the Playoffs after a memorable final against Gillingham.

In our new exclusive CITY+ documentary, we speak to the fans and players who were there that fateful day and get their memories.

And it’s available to watch now – only on CITY+.

CITY+ is our content subscription service, which is available on all our digital platforms - mancity.com, Man City app and Smart TV.

It provides access to a host of CityTV documentaries, as well as full match replays of our first team and women’s sides and selected EDS and Academy games.

Fans can sign up to a 30-day free trial, after which CITY+ is just £1.99GBP / month.
