Our former captain and City legend Steph Houghton arrived for the final stretch of our time in Abu Dhabi as part of her role as a Club ambassador.
Watching on from the sidelines, our record appearance holder then went to greet her former team-mates and chat to some of our new faces.

That included Rebecca Knaak, who joined the Club on New Year’s Day, with the two chatting in the Abu Dhabi sun.
It was a typically intense training session before Houghton’s appearance, though, with Khiara Keating and Ayaka Yamashita both making some incredible reaction saves between the sticks.
Possession-based drills and small-sided games would follow, with City’s movement, anticipation and technical quality all put to the test by Gareth Taylor and his staff.
