The versatile defender penned a new deal in April, keeping her at the Club until 2025.
Since making the switch from Spurs ahead of the 2021/22 campaign, the Australia international has made 29 appearances for Gareth Taylor’s side – winning the Continental Cup in 2021.
But Kennedy believes she can take her game to a new level in the following 24 months and, on her return from injury, is looking to cement her starting position in the City team.
“I think when I signed here, I had attributes that fit the style of play but for me it’s about how I can best use that on the pitch to help the team,” she said.
“I feel working with the coaches here has made me a better player with my decision making on the pitch and how I can best help the team.
“I definitely feel I’ve got a lot more to grow as a player, playing consistently builds that confidence and form so that’s what my aim is for the next two seasons.
“My focus every day is just how I can be the best version of myself as a person and as a player. As a footballer I want to be able to live out my potential.
“At the end of my career I want to look back and feel I did myself proud, so always trying to become a better player is a focus of mine and being that good teammate, someone people enjoy being around because he journey is really important as well as the destination in these things.
“We talk about that a lot, so I just want to enjoy my time here.”
