The Australian international has penned a two-year deal with the Club, committing her to the Academy Stadium until the summer of 2023.
Capable of operating both in defence and midfield, Kennedy will bring a wealth of experience with her, having played in her native Australia as well as in North America and, most recently, Tottenham Hotspur in the FA Women’s Super League.
And in her first interview with City Studios, Kennedy spoke of her excitement and anticipation at joining Gareth Taylor’s squad.

“It feels super exciting. Obviously, City an amazing club and I’m honoured to be part of it,” the 26-year-old declared.
“I think the team are capable of winning trophies and so I’m excited to be part of an amazing group and I think winning will be a big part of our season this year.
“City’s brand of football is it’s amazing to watch. I think it will suit me and hopefully I can help the team.”
