Go into the St Andrew's dressing room as Andrée Jeglertz delivers his pre-match team talk ahead of City's FA Cup quarter-final victory over Birmingham.

The Blues secured passage into the last-four of the historic competition with a battling 1-0 success against the WSL 2 leaders.

City made the perfect start away from home when Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw opened the scoring in the eighth minute.

After Iman Beney and Yui Hasegawa played a neat one-two down the right, the Swiss international played a pinpoint pass into the Jamaican’s path who then tucked home first-time.

That represented the game’s only goal in a closely contested cup tie, although Shaw hit the post when a deflected shot kissed the woodwork.

Following the interval, Hasegawa and Rebecca Knaak both saw efforts strike the crossbar - but ultimately City got the job done to reach the semi-finals.
