The Blues start the weekend just one point off Barclays Women’s Super League leaders Chelsea, and face Liverpool on Sunday looking to extend our winning run to five in all competitions.
So far, Jeglertz has used 23 different players this season, with ten different players contributing to the 18 goals scored across six matches.
Our Head Coach admits our current form has given him a selection headache ahead of Sunday’s 16:45 (UK) kick-off at Anfield, but insists that squad ethos is a key ingredient behind our strong start to the campaign.

Speaking about team selection, he said: “Yes, it is [difficult]. That’s what it’s all about, coaches and players like to have a great team and competition for spots.
“When you select the team who’s starting, you can only have 11, so there’ll always be this challenge, but the key thing is communication and understanding there are 11 players starting and 11 finishing the game. So, giving players different tasks is one thing.
“And it’s also a very long season, so far I’ve used all the players who’ve been fit in the cup but also in the league which builds a strong team culture.
“It’s just keeping them motivated and understanding that even though another player is performing a great game on Friday, it doesn’t mean you automatically start the week after. That’s the key thing.

“My leadership is about creating a team where everyone feels they can contribute. I also talk a lot about each session counts, everything you do everyday matters if you’re going to play that weekend.
“That’s what you also need to live up to. If you do a good training week and are present in everything you do, you have a chance to play at the weekend.
“That’s also the way to build a winning culture. It’s not the 11 who win the league for City, it’s the 25 or 26.
“Everyone will be important during a long season. I need to show that already that it means something to me. That’s why it’s looked like it has so far.”
