First-half goals from Aoba Fujino, Vivianne Miedema and Kerstin Casparij gave the Blues a commanding lead at half-time in the capital.
Following the break, Grace Clinton and Laura Coombs’ scored either side of Spurs’ consolation to secure the success over Martin Ho’s side.

For the Swede, he’s pleased with the gradual improvement and cohesion he’s seeing from his side.
“I think we are growing, every game,” he declared.
“It’s a team we are building a little bit of a different identity in the group and I think we are also seeing different faces of Manchester City this year.
“We can definitely control a game with the ball, but we can also control the game when not having the ball with the structure in the defending and being lethal in transitions.”
