The Blues beat Brighton & Hove Albion 4-0 at Wembley to claim the historic trophy for a fourth time in our history.
City took a two-goal lead in at the break thanks to a Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw header and Alex Greenwood free-kick late in the first half.
It’d been a relatively even contest up until that point but, after that quickfire double, Jeglertz’s side took control.
Aoba Fujino made it three just after the hour mark to put further daylight between the sides, with Vivianne Miedema then heading home the fourth and final goal from a Kerstin Casparij cross as stoppage time approached.
Victory sealed a Barclays Women’s Super League and FA Cup double for the first time in our history, and also ensured City became just the second side to hold the Men’s and Women’s FA Cups as well as the FA Youth Cup in the same season.
Cel Spellman, Liam Loftus and former City defender Megan Campbell provided coverage from a special afternoon for the Blues, and spoke with Jeglertz after the final whistle on the Wembley pitch.
