The Blues found ourselves a goal down on two occasions. The first when Lisa Baum tapped home on 43 minutes before Lauren Hemp’s deflected shot drew us level just before the break.
Alessia Russo restored Arsenal’s lead early in the second half. But City again retaliated when substitute Kerstin Casparij made it 2-2 with her first touch of the match.
Jeglertz’s side continued to build, with substitutes Mary Fowler, Laura Blindkilde Brown, Iman Beney and Grace Clinton all maintain City’s smothering intensity.
And it saw Hemp fire us in front before Bunny Shaw put the game out of reach for the visitors in a 4-2 win.
OFFICIAL VERDICT | CITY 4-2 ARSENAL
And the City boss felt it showed yet another way in which the Blues can earn three points.
“It’s a little bit of what this team is about,” said Jeglertz on what the win showed about his team.
“That no matter what happens in a game, we need to win football games in different ways.
“You can’t always win the same way. And sometimes we control the ball for 75% and then we score. This game we play against an Arsenal who is a very good team, very good on the ball.
But we defended lower, we were good in our lower shape. We have transition moments and when we are with the ball in their half, we are always threatening.
“We create so many chances even though we score four goals. We still have a couple more great opportunities.
“And that’s what this group is about. We can win in different ways. And no matter what happens, the players keep on going.”
