City take on Chelsea once again following a 1-0 defeat in the Subway League Cup semi-final at the Joie Stadium.
But, with the hotly anticipated occasion taking place at the Etihad Stadium and in the WSL, there’s the chance to go 12 points clear at the top of the division.
Meanwhile, Chelsea will be hoping to bounce back following a 2-0 defeat to Arsenal in the North London derby at Stamford Bridge.
After a tight 2-1 victory over London City Lionesses last weekend, Jeglertz had a special mention for the supporters and how they can spur the team on.
“They have been amazing,” he said.
“They were last time at the Etihad and those that travel with us.
“They are fantastic, supportive and give the players extra energy when we don’t have the flow of the game.
“If it’s a tight game we need them in every aspect.”
It marks a difficult and demanding spell of games for the Blues, but victory could see us go 12 points clear.
And Jeglertz says we need to find a balance in mindset between understanding the importance of the match and being present for the encounter.
“We need to talk about it, we can’t say we’ll see what happens.
“We need to deal with the situation but be present.
“Have a good meeting, prepare our best, when it’s over do another week before Arsenal.
“We have to talk about the situation, we created this because of a good season.
“We deserve it and deal with it.”
