The Blues kicked off for 2026 in style with a deserved 2-0 win over Everton at the Joie Stadium.
Kerolin opened the scoring for City just before the half-hour mark, jinking in from the right before finding the net with a deflected finish past Courtney Brosnan.
The Everton stopper was the visitors’ standout performer, with excellent saves denying Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw and Alex Greenwood in particular.

But she was powerless to prevent Vivianne Miedema from doubling our advantage just after the hour mark, with the Dutch international firing home after latching onto a chipped ball over the Everton defence to put the game to bed.
It was City’s 11th successive WSL win, and ensured we remained six points clear at the top of the table.
And while Jeglertz admitted we were a little rusty after a three-week winter break, our Head Coach was impressed with his players’ efforts and attitude against a difficult Everton side.
