Andree Jeglertz says City's belief is really strong following a string of impressive results across all competitions.

City face Everton as we travel to Goodison Park on Sunday 9th November, with kick-off set for 14:30 (UK).

The Blues have struck up fine form under Jeglertz, winning six straight WSL games under the Swede.

We currently sit one point off the league summit and will be hoping to extend our winning run further with a victory in Merseyside.

The hosts, however, sit ninth in the table after picking up five points with their most recent coming in a 3-3 draw with Aston Villa.

As always, it will be no easy game as the Toffees look to find their first victory at home this season, while we look to win our third consecutive WSL away game for the first time since May 2024.

Ahead of the unmissable encounter, the boss answered questions from the media at his pre-match press conference, and he spoke of our impressive run of form.

“I think it is for all teams that if you’re winning and putting in a good performance in general, the confidence becomes stronger and the belief becomes stronger,” he said.

“Players that have been out for a while come back, make the competition [for places] tougher, and that’s growing the team. A lot of things are going in the right direction. In a good place.”

Jeglertz’s side has also suffered with numerous injuries this season, but with no new injuries to report, he also touched on the importance of squad depth.

“I expect us to start on a better level than in the last game. I’m not worried about that,” he added.

“When we have been training well this week, the team are also there and the players are coming back. We are getting competition in training, and that will challenge the players. The ones who start know there are a lot of players waiting to contribute.”
