The Japan international has become a key figure for the Blues over her two full seasons to date, and she’s now committed her future to the Club until the summer of 2030.
Often deployed on the right, Fujino has also operated in central areas and on the opposite flank on occasion under the watchful eye of Andrée Jeglertz.
Each position brings a fresh set of demands, and the 22-year-old appreciates being given that responsibility.

“Honestly, I’m really happy to be trusted with all these different roles,” she said.
“Playing in different positions has given me a completely new perspective on the game, (and) the way I think about football has really changed.
“It’s challenging at times, for sure, but I think it’s exactly what I need to keep growing as a player.
“Getting to face all these different challenges genuinely excites me. I want to repay the trust my manager has in me, and I’m going to keep working hard on that.”
