But this time, the joke was on them!

For April Fools’ Day this year, the City Media Team decided to ‘roll over’ the tables. It was time for some ‘ruff’ revenge!
We tricked the players into saying fake lines to camera to announce ‘Manchester City’s first canine sports player’... and they obliged - much to our amusement!
Many of the team were so excited about the idea, they were more than happy to pup-port (sorry!) the cause. We even managed to get Georgia to ‘woof!’ before asking them to wish everyone a ‘Happy April Fools’ Day!’
Even then, they didn’t click... so we had to share the terrier-ble news that there is no canine sports player - and they were paws-itively perplexed!
