Watch the best of the action from City’s dramatic 2-1 Barclays Women’s Super League victory over Brighton.

Gareth Taylor’s side travelled to the Broadfield Stadium aiming to extend our unbeaten league run to 13 games and further strengthen our title challenge with three points.

But against a dogged Seagulls side, success in East Sussex was far from a formality with Amy Merrick’s side battling to preserve their top-flight status.

We took the lead through Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw’s poked effort which wrote her name in the Club’s history book as she became the highest-scoring player for our Women’s team in a single season.

The strike represented her 25th goal of the season – taking her above Nikita Parris’ tally of 24.

However, the hosts hit back on the cusp of half-time when Elisabeth Terland volleyed an unstoppable effort past Sandy MacIver.

But with the game looking likely to end in a draw as we battled to break down a stern Brighton defence, Bunny popped up in the 89th minute to snatch three points with a coolly taken strike.
