The Jamaican grabbed a third hat-trick in four Barclays Women’s Super League appearances as Gareth Taylor’s side extended our unbeaten run to seven in all competitions.
That run began in our 3-1 win at Old Trafford back in November, and the two sides lock horns once again in a Conti Cup group decider at the Joie Stadium, which is available to watch live on CITY+.
Ahead of the 19:00 (UK) kick-off, Shaw explained how the win over Liverpool can help us keep the local bragging rights and progress into the Conti Cup quarter-finals.
“We’re looking forward to that game,” she said following her latest hat-trick display at the Joie Stadium.
“Whenever we play United it’s always a big game and we just have to build from this.
“We need to keep the momentum going and hopefully we can get the job done on Wednesday against them.”
