Khadija 'Bunny' Shaw was delighted to score her 50th City goal as she scored twice in our 3-2 win over Everton in our final Barclays Women's Super League game of the season.

The Jamaican finished off a fine move shortly into the second half before Lauren Hemp‘s screamer gave us breathing room over the Toffees.

She would double her personal tally, slotting home from close range to give us our third before two late Everton goals proved no more than consolations.

The result saw Gareth Taylor‘s side end the season with a fine win in front of our home fans on an enjoyable afternoon at the Academy Stadium.

Shaw’s second goal was her 50th for the club and 31st in all competitions this season, wrapping up a prolific season in front of goal.

But even after such a dazzling campaign, she admitted she is aiming for more success next season.

She said: “I’m honored to score 50 goals with this great club.

“But I credit my team because, at the end of the day, they are the ones that are assisting all the goals.”

“We’ve worked tremendously hard this season, we’ve come up short so hopefully we can look back on this season and build on some of the positive stuff we’ve done.
