Khadija 'Bunny' Shaw is officially Manchester City's record goalscorer.

The Jamaican confidently slotted home her 68th goal for the Club in Saturday’s derby triumph over Manchester United.

Picking up play from Jess Park, the forward powered into the box to add our third of the afternoon, just 30 seconds after the restart at the Etihad Stadium.

In doing so, Shaw overtook Georgia Stanway as City’s record goalscorer, reaching the milestone in just 82 appearances.

With 17 goals in just 16 league games so far this season, she’s also well on course to grab the WSL’s Golden Boot award for 2023/24.

Grabbing her first goal for City on the opening day of the 2021/22 WSL campaign against Everton, Shaw went on to find the net 19 times in her debut season.

However, she took those numbers to new heights last year, when her 31 goals in just 30 appearances in all competitions saw her break Nikita Parris’ record for the most strikes across a single campaign.

She’s continued in the same vein in 2023/24 with 18 goals, three hat-tricks and two derby goals for good measure.

The above video tracks some of the key goals Shaw grabbed en route to reaching her latest milestone at City.

Congratulations, Bunny!
