The winger helped Gareth Taylor‘s side regain the lead when she fired into the top corner after the ball sat up invitingly for her on the edge of the box.
It was a stunning strike, and one she followed up ten minutes later with a clinical low drive to help City over the line at Prenton Park.
And Kelly admitted that she was confident each would hit the back of the net after catching both efforts perfectly.
“Sometimes, and with the second one as well, when it leaves your boot, you know it’s going in,” she reflected after the match.
“I hit it so sweetly. It was a great display from the girls tonight.
“It just bounced nicely for me, and I trust my left foot, so I hit it.
“When you trust your left foot, you hit it with conviction.”
