Chloe Kelly says she’s delighted to help Manchester City reach the UEFA Women’s Champions League group stage after an 8-0 aggregate win over Paris in Round Two qualification.

And the England international is relishing the prospect of rubbing shoulders with Europe’s elite this season.

The skilful winger scored in both our 5-0 first leg victory and 3-0 second leg triumph as we emphatically secured passage into the competition proper for the first time since 2020/21.

It will also represent our eighth time competing in the competition we’ve reached the semi-final of across our illustrious history.

And Kelly believes City are deservedly competing at Europe’s top table once again.

“I think this is where the Club belongs,” she declared.

“It feels very good, this has been our stumbling block in previous seasons so we knew the job at hand tonight and we got the job done.

“We need to keep pushing forward and we know last season we came away with no silverware, which was a disappointment, but this season is our opportunity to do so.”
