After the visitors took the lead inside a minute in Manchester, our electric winger soon nullified the Royals’ advantage when poking home a neat Lauren Hemp cross 15-minutes later.
That set the tone for an impressive showing by Gareth Taylor’s side as further goals from Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw, Hemp and Steph Houghton secured a vital three points at home.
And Kelly explained how she didn’t want the referee to blow for full-time.
“I didn’t want the game to end, to be honest,” she said.
“I felt like we were playing good football towards the end and I’m just enjoying my football and trying to get as many goals and assists as possible.
“I’ve been working on trying to get in the right position in the box and, to be honest, I don’t know too much about it, I just booted something and it hurt a little bit, but a goal’s a goal and should’ve had more, actually.
“We’ve got an amazing front three, I enjoy playing with such great talent and I feel we just bounce off each other and just enjoy playing with each other.”
