Alex Greenwood and Lily Murphy attended the Ronald McDonald House in Manchester, where City in the Community was delivering a session for children receiving care.
The pair enjoyed playing games with the participants and chatting to staff, before handing out free tickets to the upcoming Manchester City Women fixture against Aston Villa on Sunday 14th December at the Joie Stadium.
Speaking after the visit, Greenwood said: “We’ve had a great time. It’s been really fun.
“The most important thing is that these families have a place to go and the work that everyone does here is incredible.
“Today has been really eye-opening. To understand the work that goes on with City in the Community is really important as it’s crucial for families. I hope everyone enjoyed our visit, playing games with us and receiving tickets.
“It definitely makes me proud to know that the Club is supporting City in the Community’s work here through the Christmas campaign.”
Elsewhere, Kerolin, alongside Manager, Andrée Jeglertz, showed their support for the Club’s charity by attending its annual One City Disability Disco at the Etihad Stadium.
The pair were able to meet up to 150 young people who are all supported by City in the Community’s One City and One City Schools projects.
Commenting on his visit, Jeglertz said: “Today’s visit was fantastic!
“The group had a lot of energy and I really enjoyed seeing them have so much fun together.
“City in the Community’s support for people in Manchester is crucial. I think there are a lot of people who support our Club and are part of our Club, so it’s important that we can come together and celebrate festivities together.
“I hope everyone had as much fun as I did!”
