Gareth Taylor’s side welcome the reigning European champions to the Joie Stadium on Wednesday 9 October in our opening Group D assignment.
We secured passage into the competition proper thanks to an 8-0 aggregate win over Paris FC in Round Two qualifying.
The fixture will see the Blues face the Catalan giants for the first time since March 2021 where we recorded a memorable 2-1 victory in the quarter-final second leg.
Janine Beckie’s close-range finish gave us the lead after 20 minutes, before Asisat Oshoala equalised before the hour.
However, City responded inside ten minutes, with Sam Mewis converting from the spot after Ellen White was hauled to the ground inside the box.
Although it wasn’t quite enough to reach the semi-final following our 3-0 defeat in the first leg, we took solace from becoming the first side to beat Barcelona that season.
