It was a superb night for the pair who were signed this summer with Scottish goalkeeper Cumings making her Blues bow and defender Rose scoring her first goal for the Club.
The Canada international netted the opener when she controlled the ball well following Leila Ouahabi’s vicious corner before prodding into the net from close range.
After the game’s first goal, Cumings was then called into action after a spell of Toffees pressure where she made of string of fantastic saves as we retained our narrow lead heading into half-time.

After the break, goals from Yui Hasegawa and Vivianne Miedema extended our lead further while the Scotland international and Rose continued to impress.
Everton did pull a goal back in the closing stages but there was nothing Cumings could do to prevent Hikaru Kitagawa’s unstoppable curling effort.
And speaking to the Club after the triumph both our goalkeeper and defender were in fine spirits.
