The goalkeeper departs City a Club legend, tallying the most appearances in between the sticks, with 136 outings in her nine years with the Club.
Following City’s 2-1 win against Aston Villa on the final day of the 2023/24 campaign, Roebuck announced she would move away from City in the pursuit of a new challenge.
But her love for the Club and the fans will not waiver as she calls time on her career in sky blue.

“For me, coming in as a young girl and having that support from day one, coming into the team, meeting everyone, they almost became my family away from family,” said Roebuck as she reflected on how welcoming everyone at the Club has been during her tenure.
“Living in Manchester on my own, it was nice to have that support. City is such a family club so for me all I can say is just a huge thank you.
“I guess now I’ll be sat in the stands being a supporter as well! I hope I’m welcomed with open arms, they’ve been great over my time, I can’t thank them [the fans] enough.”
The 24-year-old kept 62 clean sheets in all competitions, with 45 of those in the Barclays Women’s Super League, the highest of any City keeper.
But from all of her amazing moments between the sticks, Roebuck was able to pick a favourite.
“I think personally playing in the first Manchester derby at the Etihad was an unbelievable occasion and something I’ll never forget but also collectively when we won the FA Cup in lockdown [Everton 1-3 City],” she added.
“There weren’t any fans but somehow, we just made it the most amazing occasion. I remember when we scored in extra time, I did a knee slide to nobody!
“It was one of those occasions where you’re on cloud nine. For me, that’s something I’ll never forget.”
