In the wake of signing her new City contract, Esme Morgan has revealed how both the Club and city of Manchester feel like home to her.

Currently continuing her rehab from a lower leg fracture sustained last September, the 21-year-old England international, has committed here long-term future to City, signing a new deal that will take her through to 2025.

Morgan has gone from strength to strength since making her City debut as a 16-year-old back in 2017.

And in an in-depth interview, she admitted how much playing for the Club she had supported al her life meant to her.

“This feels like home to me – both the Club and the city of Manchester,” the defender admitted.

“I’ve got so many close friends within the team and have such a good relationship with all the staff and I’m so grateful for all the support they have shown me from when I was a tot coming through the ranks up until now all the way through my injury.

“With my injury I’ve gone back to being a fan this season

“When I do get back it will feel like I’m starting a new journey and a new chapter in my City career and I can’t wait for that.

“And I can’t wait to pull the shirt back on and play in front of the fans and have that same passion and feeling again.”
