Eve Annets says she’s ready to work tirelessly to become a world class player following her Manchester City arrival.

The England youth international joins the Club from Reading after impressively progressing through the Royals’ academy and into their first-team last term.

By penning a four-year deal with Gareth Taylor’s side ahead of the 2024/25 season she could be presented the opportunity to play in the Barclays Women’s Super League and Champions League for the first time.

And the goalkeeper is relishing the opportunity to improve at the City Football Academy and train alongside our current City stars.

“I think for me individually, I want to be getting to the elite level will push myself as high as I can towards the best players at this club,” she declared.

“Fitter, stronger, faster, making better saves against faster paced shots, things like that, and just developing a mindset of someone who is going for a WSL title and to be part of that team would be really good.

“So if I could see and be part of them win the WSL this season, that would be amazing.

“Yeah, I mean, when you look around at the facilities here, the feel of it, it’s like a campus and everything’s so close together.

“You’ve got everything you could need. And for me that wants to grow, I just think having so many specialists in different parts of the game on and off the field can really help me push myself in every area.”
