City will face Chelsea in the Subway League Cup final after stealing a dramatic late victory at Meadow Park.
The Blues responded in style to a 4-3 WSL defeat against the Gunners just four days prior, with Mary Fowler handing us a deserved lead midway through the first half.
Arsenal responded from the spot just before the hour through Mariona Caldentey after Rebecca Knaak was deemed to have caught Stina Blackstenius when going to ground in the area.

But City were presented with our own chance from 12 yards a matter of minutes later when Fowler was caught, but the Australian’s penalty was well saved by Daphne van Domselaar.
Gareth Taylor’s side continued to press for the winner, twice hitting the woodwork while also going close through a Jill Roord header.
And that pressure would eventually tell with what was effectively the last kick of the game, as Fowler shifted the ball onto her left foot and found the bottom corner from the edge of the box.
