Watch the comprehensive highlights from City's eventful 5-2 victory over Crystal Palace at the Joie Stadium.

Nick Cushing’s side closed the campaign with three points as we came from behind at half-time to triumph on the final day of the Barclays Women’s Super League campaign.

Although the Eagles were already relegated heading into the clash, they provided a tough test throughout and took the lead in the fourth minute when Ashleigh Weerden clinically slotted into the net.

Palace’s lead didn’t last long, though, and it was Kerolin Nicoli who levelled with a piece of individual brilliance when she controlled inside the box and rifled into the roof of the net.

But the south Londoners restored their lead ahead of the interval when Mille Gejl collected the ball inside the box and slammed low past Khiara Keating.

Cushing then introduced Jill Roord and Aoba Fujino at the break and the Netherlands international equalised just shy of 20 minutes later when she tucked home after Kerolin Nicoli’s effort was initially saved.

It then didn’t take us long to edge ahead for the first time when Rebecca Knaak powered home a header, but we didn’t take our foot off the gas and netted twice more before full-time.

Kerolin Nicoli was played into the final third and she beat the offside trap to drive into the area and coolly dispatch her second of the afternoon.

Knaak then bagged her brace in stoppage time when she again met a corner and sent the ball into the back of the net.
