Taylor’s side were three goals to the good at the break, and saw out a convincing victory to end 2023 on a high.
And with title rivals Arsenal and Manchester United both dropping points, the boss was delighted that his team could take advantage.

“I’m really pleased for the girls. We knew how important it was to finish off strong, we saw the results today,” the boss reflected.
“I think it was a good opportunity for us to make ground and we did that. I thought we started well, controlled large parts, made changes and it had little impact in disrupting our flow.”
“There were some strong performances today and I liked how we showed our personality in terms of controlling the play and managing the game.
“With and without the ball, I thought that was probably one of the best performances we’ve had.”
