Gareth Taylor praised Jess Park's impressive performance in City's 3-0 win against Tottenham Hotspur which booked our place in the Continental Cup final.

Park scored the opening goal and creating assists on the other two, as well as producing a lot of chances.

Despite only being 20, Park has taken her opportunity to shine in recent weeks and Taylor was impressed.

“She’s been providing a real spark for us,” he told mancity.com.

“I’ve been challenging her to get more goals because she’s a good finisher.

“I thought her goal tonight was great the way she cut across the player and finished it off really well.”
