Gareth Taylor believes his side have found a way to ‘get things done’ after a hard-fought 2-0 win over Hammarby in the UEFA Champions League.

Goals from Laura Blindkilde Brown and Aoba Fujino helped City maintain top spot in Group D as well as our 100% start to this season’s competitions.

The visitors didn’t make life easy, going in goalless at the break with the Blues having to dig deep to get over the line.

But Taylor was proud of how his team stood up to that test, particularly given City were without the likes of Naomi Layzell, Laia Aleixandri, Vivianne Miedema and Lauren Hemp.

“The girls really stood together and worked tremendously hard to get the win.”
