Gareth Taylor described Aoba Fujino's performance as 'outstanding' in City’s 3-1 FA Cup fifth round victory against Leicester.

The Japan international played a crucial role in our opening goal, creating the opportunity which was eventually tapped home by Leila Ouahabi.

Kerolin Nicoli doubled City’s lead, with Fujino then chipping in the cross for Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw  to make it three after the break.

It was the latest standout display from a young winger who is really starting to find her feet in England, with Gareth Taylor impressed by her quality throughout.

“I thought she was outstanding, she really was,” the City head coach began.

“She was very good the other night too [against Arsenal], but today I think some of her combination play and her crossing was so, so good.

“You have to give her great credit because she works on her game every single day.

“She does extra training and always works on crosses, different types of play, she’s a dream to work with.”
