Our blisteringly quick winger entered the field on 78 minutes of the success after Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw’s historic hat-trick and Jill Roord’s strike gave us a commanding lead.
The 18-year-old then caused the visitors problems throughout the closing stages when driving at their defence before coming close to her first senior goal when curling just wide.
Murphy’s appearance represented her fourth for the Club after progressing through our Academy.
And Taylor says he’s been impressed by her ‘fearless’ attitude on the training field and during her outings so far.
“[She’s] a really exciting talent,” he declared.
“She’s really hungry to learn, to prove herself and she’s fearless. That’s what you need as a young player.
“We’ve got some good ones and its nice in that type of moment to be able to give her the opportunity which certainly put them on the back foot.”
