The City duo played the full 90 minutes in a captivating WSL encounter, in which Tobin Heath’s stoppage time equaliser denied Taylor’s side all three points under the Academy Stadium lights.
Despite conceding late on, 17-year-old Keating provided an assured presence between the sticks, saving well from both Vivianne Miedema and Beth Mead in each half, while 20-year-old Park was a constant threat out wide.
And Taylor was delighted with the contribution of both City youngsters, agreeing that their post-match plaudits were fully deserved.
“(Jess Park) showed real maturity in her play tonight, she took the ball and took the challenge to the Arsenal defenders, made it really difficult.
“Showed some bits of quality as well with some good deliveries into the box.
“She had a couple of opportunities where she potentially could’ve done better but if you look at the age of the player and playing in a slightly unfamiliar position, she’s taken on the challenge and rightly deserved to be player of the game.
“(Khiara’s) done really well, very calm in everything she does, safe handling, good in the build-up play and has a good understanding.
“The two young players were playing with a real maturity and composure.
“We’re really pleased with what they’re doing so far.”
