The Jamaican’s early brace set the tone for a dominant Round One semi-final display in Madrid, with further strikes from Lauren Hemp, Vicky Losada, Deyna Castellanos and a late own goal completing the scoring.
It means Bunny has now found the net 21 times in just 30 competitive appearances for the Club since joining last summer from French outfit, Bordeaux.
And Taylor reflected that he has noticed a step up in the forward’s performances over the course of the summer as she continues to adapt to life at City.
The City boss reflected: “As a striker, that’s what you want [to get off the mark early]. You want to be in there scoring goals, being involved and having chances.
“She made herself a nuisance, and that’s what you have to do.
“I’ve seen a step up in a lot of the players in terms of the levels they’ve gone through and Bunny’s certainly one of them.
“When she’s like that she’s very difficult to play against.”
