Our next assignment, in what’s shaping up to be an exhilarating race to the summit, is a trip to fourth placed Arsenal on Sunday, 2 April - fresh from a fantastic 2-0 victory over reigning champions Chelsea last weekend.
Goals from Filippa Angeldahl and Lauren Hemp secured a vital three points at the Academy Stadium, while we became the first team to shut out the Londoners this term.
And although Taylor detailed the positive mood in camp, he explained how the squad’s desire is to reach new heights before the campaign’s end.

“I think as good as a result it was we’ve looked at the performance and probably, without getting carried away with ourselves, looked at where we can be even better, which I think is healthy.
“I think says a lot about the group as well and the player we’re working with. How can we really go out and win that game emphatically.
“I think it’s very impressive against Chelsea to limit them from scoring. I don’t think that happens very often as well. It’s just about us setting the standards high.
“Trying to improve game on game. We’ve always felt when we are at our best we are difficult to play against.”
