Khiara Keating has played all Barclays Women’s Super League games so far this season and received her first senior call up in the recent international break.
She faces stiff competition for her place from Ellie Roebuck and Sandy MacIver.
24-year-old Roebuck has been at City since 2016 and a regular in England squad’s in recent years.
MacIver, 25, made her debut for Scotland earlier this week after electing to switch following a youth career with England.
Arsenal v City | Match preview
While it’s Keating, still only 19, that currently has the shirt and looks likely to start Sunday’s meeting with Arsenal, Taylor insists all three are working hard.
“She’s [Khiara] been strong for us and helped by players in front of her and behind her in Sandy and Ellie.
“She’s in a good place, lots of potential and excited by what the future holds.
“To have three goalkeepers on international duty is fantastic.
“We’ve been open and honest with goalkeepers in what we need to do to achieve and what they need to do in that process.
“At the moment it’s Khiara and of course Ellie is working tremendously hard like Sandy to force her way in.”
