Gareth Taylor says City are relishing the prospect of our upcoming run of games.

City are back in action on Saturday with an FA Women’s Super League trip to Aston Villa - our third game of an action-packed week.

Taylor’s side then face another busy period with two cup games and a crunch league visit of Arsenal, before a mouth-watering February double of fixtures against Chelsea and Manchester United.

Having started the New Year in blistering form with 6-0 and 5-0 wins, we head into this weekend’s clash in excellent form and Taylor says his squad are champing at the bit to build momentum.

“Without wanting to get ahead of ourselves, we just see it as a really good opportunity, he said.

“I don’t think they could have fallen any better. They are great games - two at home and one away to Chelsea - it raises the level for us.

“We have got the bit between our teeth at the moment and we need to make sure we are giving ourselves the best opportunity.

“We just want to keep going. We don’t want to look too far ahead. It’s game by game.

“Focus on what we can affect right now and look forward to it and enjoy it.”
