However, he says that exposure will stand them in good stead as they progress through their careers.
“That situation has happened which we don’t want but what it has brought is young players getting exposure to the game and Champions League games,” he said in Friday’s press conference ahead of Sunday’s trip to Everton.
“It’s a fantastic environment to be in and the senior players are really helping them. The improvements they are making are huge.
“Good people to work with. Eve is just still just 17, Sacha has not been with us recently through injury but she’s 16.
“What a moment for Lily Murphy last night. She was exciting to watch and had good opportunities, she could’ve scored a hat-trick. Really glad that she got her goal because that will give her a lot of confidence.
“I’ve been impressed with the games after international break. The way we have dominated opponents and manufactured opportunities has been really impressive.”
