Gareth Taylor has challenged his City players to show the same character and determination they displayed in Wednesday’s 6-0 FA Cup quarter-final win over Leicester when West Ham United visit the Academy Stadium on Sunday.
The victory over Leicester brought our three-match losing run to an end in emphatic style.
But the focus now returns to the WSL, with Sunday’s game against West Ham a tricky fixture.
Taylor says he wants to see the same drive and determination that underpinned our win over the Foxes.
“The players did that well on Wednesday,” he said. “We were depleted in numbers. We need to see more of that character.
“In terms of attitude, enthusiasm and wanting to win, that never changes for us.”
