And the starlet says she meant every action which brought her maiden strike for the Club.
With the Blues leading the Reds 3-0 with less than 15 minutes remaining at the Joie Stadium, the 20-year-old skipped past a challenge on the right flank and sent the ball flying over Teagan Micah and into the top corner.
It was just rewards for her strong display across our backline as she also contributed to a well-deserved clean sheet.
And she has denied her team-mates’ claims that her effort was, in fact, a cross.
“Some say it was a cross, some say it was a shot - but I’ll claim a shot,” she declared!
“It’s unbelievable [to score] in front of the fans, it’s really good. It definitely tops off the performance and it’s a great feeling to score my first goal.
“The manager said well done, good goal and that I played well. The girls were really happy too, they said it was a cross, but I’ll claim a shot.”
“I think Liverpool are a good team but we broke them down well and played really good as a team and got the three points, that’s the main thing.”
