The youngster joins Gareth Taylor’s City squad as the most recent youth graduate after a steady progression through the academy.
This includes making her senior debut against Blackburn Rovers in October 2022 where we succeeded with an impressive 6-0 victory in the Continental Cup.
After agreeing a four-year deal with Taylor’s side, Prior is looking forward to the challenge ahead.
Alongside growing within the academy, Prior enjoyed a successful last season with a dual registration at Burnley gaining valuable senior experience. Describing herself as a self-disciplined player both on and off the pitch, Gracie is delighted that something she has always aspired to achieve has finally become a reality.
She said, “It feels like a dream come true to sign my first professional contract for one of the biggest clubs in the world.
“It’s amazing, and a really proud moment for me and my family.
“It’s something I’d dreamt of, but it still feels very surreal.”
The defender also states ahead of the start of her professional journey at City that she can’t wait to see all the fans at the Club this upcoming season.
