Ahead of City's huge Barclays Women's Super League clash this Sunday with Chelsea, we look back at our memorable Continental Cup final victory over Emma Hayes' side 12 months ago...

Kick-off is set for 12:40 (UK) on Sunday 26 March, with a sellout crowd expected at the Academy Stadium.

Just two points separate the sides at the top of the WSL table, with both City and Chelsea boasting unbeaten league records since September.

Something’s got to give in one of the most highly anticipated clashes of the season.

But Gareth Taylor‘s side are no strangers to pressurised situations, as demonstrated by our deserved 3-1 victory over Emma Hayes’ side when the two teams met in last year’s Continental Cup final.

City trailed 1-0 at the break after Sam Kerr’s instinctive finish at Plough Lane, but an inspired second half display turned the game on its head.

Caroline Weir grabbed a brace, including a sweetly struck volley to round off the scoring, while Ellen White tapped home from close-range to hand City a deserved 3-1 victory.

And our cameras were at Plough Lane to capture every moment from an historic day.

From a rousing half-time team talk through to player celebrations from the dugout, relive our Conti Cup triumph from a unique perspective.
