Gareth Taylor’s side spent a week at the beginning of January in Abu Dhabi to rest, rejuvenate and sharpen up ahead of the second half of the 2024/25 season as the Blues look to compete on four fronts.
The episode begins with Ayaka Yamashita, Risa Shimizu and Aoba Fujino visiting the Louvre – the region’s stunning art gallery – before it’s down to business on the training field in front of Abu Dhabi’s skyline.

There we see Taylor and his squad working hard and enjoying the time in the sun as our goalkeeping union is put through their paces, then it’s off to the desert for an evening watches the sunset in the sand dunes while also riding camels!
As the trip neared its conclusion, the Club hosted an open training session where supporters got to see their favourite players in action before Khiara Keating was presented with her Etihad Player of the Month award for December.
However, there was still time for Club legend Steph Houghton to join our players and take a number of them to a local driving range where their golf skills were tested.
