With an access-all-areas pass at the Etihad, City Studios captured City’s 5-1 Barclays Women’s Super League win over Chelsea from a variety of angles.
Starting us off we capture the atmosphere around the ground to the team arriving at the Blue Carpet before the squad takes to the grass for their pre-match warm-up, see everything that goes on behind the curtain before kick-off.

Then, once the game began, it was the ideal first half from our Blues.
Kerolin opened the scoring before Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw doubled our lead.
A third soon followed after the break with Lauren Hemp sending Kerolin in behind on the counter, with her sending a chipped ball over Hampton.
Hemp and Kerolin linked up once again with our number 11 squaring to complete the Brazilian’s hat-trick before the hour mark, becoming the first player to score a treble against the reigning WSL champions.
Alyssa Thompson found the bottom corner with around 20 to play to get Sonia Bompastor’s side on the score sheet.
But City wouldn’t let Chelsea dampen the party there as Vivianne Miedema flicked home Casparij’s corner at the near post to restore our four-goal lead.
And to celebrate at full-time, the City team made sure to thank the thousands of amazing fans who showed their support.
