City progressed into Division One of the PGA Under-21 League having finished fourth in the first phase of the competition in December.
Since then, the Blues have enjoyed an excellent start to the new format, which now becomes a national competition.
Indeed, at time of writing our young blues have won four of our first five matches and sit top of the pile heading towards the business end of the season.
That run included a memorable win over Manchester United to kick-off the second phase of the competition, with another gutsy win coming against Aston Villa, who had finished top of the northern division.

There’s also huge praise for Lily Murphy, who helped City to that win over United as part of her recovery plan from the shoulder injury that she sustained in September against Chelsea.
Elsewhere, five different members of our Next Gen squad have been included in senior matchday squads in Rachael Adedini, Freya Hirons, Amelia Oldroyd, Samira Shikhshabekova and Millie Burdon in recent months.
